Description

New camper blocking the street and loading bay for pacific supply. I've called the OPD every day for the last week and they have yet to take action.

It really getting dangerous down here.

There have been people stripping copper right outside the camper and the bike jerk is back.

Are there any way that any lawyers in our neighborhood? We have an extensive record of residents and local businesses reporting crimes to OPD and encampments to public works. We have a record that shows OPD and public works simply aren't doing their jobs. Can we set up some sort of class action suit against the city or OPD?

I can't help but think the threat of one would result in all agencies paying more attention to this area.

Also local news... I invite other neighbors to call all local new outlets this week and ask them to shine some light on this issue. Stanley Roberts could shoot a whole season of his segment in one day on wood street.

I also wrote a formal request to the mayor asking her to come down here and have an in person meeting with the local businesses and residents to discuss the problem. If other neighbors do the same, we might get somewhere.
