The noise levels from the alaMar Bar & Kitchen restaurant are ridiculously loud. The restaurant has outdoor dining, and takes no measures to maintain proper noise control of its patrons. There are numerous people frequently screaming and shouting any time the bar is open, I can hear it 60m away in my apartment. It’s beyond a joke at this stage. On top of that, the restaurant is not abiding by any COVID guidelines with regards ensuring patrons are wearing masks and maintaining a safe social distance. The noise has been going on for hours this evening but it’s the same story anytime the place is open.

3rd weekend in a row, and the loud noise, lack of social distancing and people who can’t be bothered wearing face masks continues. Surely bars and restaurants need licenses or permits to play live music (bands or DJs) from the sidewalk outside their premises?! This noise is a major nuisance and has to violate county ordinance of what’s considered acceptable. Every weekend from 4-9pm, it’s the same thing.
Are these complaints monitored by anyone?!
